EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED: Sleep RSA's promote and sell merchandise displayed within the bedding department onlywork directly with internal and external customersfollow up with customer orders and inquiresassist with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operationswork on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are metask customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses to get a better understanding of the customer's needsexplain features of products in a manner that the customer will understandexplain features of products that will benefit the customers based on their needsprepare sales tickets for orders obtainedrecommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needsdescribe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customersmust stay educated on new products, policies, as well as advertisements the store is runningknowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling productsuse excellent customer relations.Following up with customers by email and phone.Perform any other duties as directed by management.Make sure POP is received and displayed.Make sure mattresses are clean and stain free.Cut excess strings on mattresses.Make sure footers are clean. Ensure overall cleanliness of mattress area on a regular basisMaintain core 4 and straighten pillows/sheets.Check bases/remotes to make sure they are working.Disinfect/wipe remotes daily. Keep computer/printer area clean. Make sure TVs are on and streaming.Any stains on carpet or scuffed walls, put on snap list to get cleaned or painted.EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Must be able to work flexible shifts, such as opening and closing shifts; advanced Storis knowledge required; ability to lift merchandise of 20 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; proven leader within the organization; knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.Work Environment: Works in an indoor, climate-controlled environment.Mathis Home promotes and maintains a drug-free work environment.
