We are seeking a Project Manager – Electrical Construction to join our Providence, RI team and lead commercial and industrial electrical projects from start to finish.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager – Electrical Construction is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and financial performance of assigned projects. This role works closely with field supervisors, foremen, general contractors, clients, and internal office teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This is a leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, financial oversight, and proactive communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
  • Oversee field supervisors and foremen to ensure milestones are achieved
  • Maintain strong working relationships with General Contractor Superintendents and clients
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, project specifications, and safety regulations
  • Monitor job site safety in alignment with company standards
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Identify project risks and proactively resolve conflicts
  • Track financial performance, job costing, and profitability
  • Lead project closeout and final financial reconciliation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial electrical construction projects
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and job cost control
  • Experience coordinating with field teams and general contractors
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making ability
  • Equivalent combinations of education and field experience will be considered
