Job Description
At Elford, our commitment to Build. Serve. Lead. shapes how we deliver projects and how we show up for each other. We build lasting spaces, serve clients and communities with intention, and lead through teamwork, accountability, and trust.
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead multi-family construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is for someone who likes ownership, thrives in collaboration, and knows how to drive projects forward while building strong relationships along the way. If you enjoy solving complex problems, partnering closely with the field, and delivering high-quality projects—not just checking boxes—this could be a great fit. This is an opportunity to take real ownership of meaningful work while partnering with experienced teams who value quality, relationships, and results.

Oversee submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, material procurement, labor coordination, and change management
Review and approve subcontractor and supplier billings, change orders, and budgets
Partner closely with Superintendents to deliver projects on schedule and to quality standards
Coordinate with Accounting, Estimating, and internal teams to ensure alignment and execution
Build strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers
Lead job meetings and ensure clear, consistent project communication
Support design-build efforts when applicable
Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
Represent the company in client meetings and project presentations
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
7–10+ years in construction, including 5–6 years in a Project Manager role
Strong leadership, judgment, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage schedule, budget, and risk
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and problem-solve
Comfortable working across field and office teams
Proficiency with construction software and project controls
If you’re a Project Manager who enjoys building strong teams, solving problems, and delivering high-quality projects from start to finish, we’d love to connect.
