Location Manager (Contract) – VGM Fleet

Operations-Focused | Hands-On Leadership | Fleet Accountability

We are seeking a disciplined, operations-driven Location Manager to take full ownership of building VGM’s daily rental fleet program. This includes daily fleet performance, rental execution, and driver oversight. This is a working leadership role —not a desk position. You will be directly responsible for fleet readiness, driver performance, and real-time problem-solving.

Schedule Requirements (Split-Shift)

• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00AM - 10:00AM & 8:00PM - 10:00 PM
• Punctuality and attendance are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet & Lot Management

• Oversee all rental pickups/drop-offs and ensure 100% vehicle readiness.
• Conduct daily lot audits, inspections, and maintain staging organization.
• Perform light maintenance (wiper blades, fluids, plates) and escalate mechanical/software issues.

Driver Supervision

• Serve as the first-line supervisor for all assigned drivers.
• Enforce company policies, performance standards, and attendance.
• Provide real-time operational support and on-call guidance.

Administrative Oversight

• Ensure accurate rental documentation and system updates.
• Manage fleet data via spreadsheets and rental management software.
• Maintain professional customer interactions and office/lot cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Leadership: Proven experience in supervisory or team lead roles.
• Technical: Basic mechanical aptitude; comfortable with mobile apps, cloud platforms, and MS Office (Excel).
• Industry: Fleet management or Electric Vehicle (EV) experience preferred.
• Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Credentials: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
