We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from pre-construction through completion. You’ll work closely with our Project Executive and divide your time between the office and job sites, providing essential leadership, coordination, and decision-making. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders
• Forecast labor, materials, and equipment needs
• Proactively adjust schedules to avoid delays
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities from pre-construction through completion

Budget & Financial Oversight

• Manage project budgets
• Track expenses and control costs
• Approve invoices and change orders with Synergy leadership
• Ensure financial accountability and profitability

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Collaborate with site Superintendent; supervise subcontractors and construction crews
• Delegate tasks and monitor performance
• Resolve conflicts and maintain team morale
• Foster alignment on project goals and expectations
• Build trust with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Compliance, Safety & Quality Control

• Enforce building codes, permits, and legal regulations
• Maintain OSHA compliance and safety protocols
• Conduct site inspections and address hazards
• Monitor construction quality and standards
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

Contracts, Documentation & Communication

• Draft and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Oversee permits, licenses, and inspections
• Provide regular updates and status reports
• Translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience

• 10+ years in building construction, including 7+ years in project management
• HUD/IHDA compliance experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of residential and commercial construction
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Sage/Master Builder

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or related field
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred
• PMP Certification a plus
