Operation Manager

We are looking for a motivated, hard-working person to join our concrete coating company. We are looking for attention to detail and pride in their work.

Role: We are looking for an experienced manager with concrete coating experience. The role will include estimating new projects, scheduling and setting up weekly jobs, and setting up installation teams with materials.

Job Duties And Qualifications

• Manage schedule and estimate dates

• Training and onboarding new installers

• Able to follow directions, understand work rules and procedures

• Work independently with little supervision

• Calculating the amounts of materials and time required for each project

• Communicating with clients to ensure satisfaction

• Able to help installation team as needed

• Contact leads from marketing effort, set appointments

• The successful candidates will be working closely with crew members and eventually multiple crews which are installing coatings to floors and surfaces per provided specifications.

• General tasks will include the use of general construction equipment, such as large grinders, hand grinders, shop vacs, and shot blaster. Most of our work focuses on garage floors; however, we also apply coatings to surfaces such as patios, porches and basements.

• We’re looking for candidates with a background in sales construction with leadership experience. This position offers a competitive salary with the potential for profit sharing.

• Preparing surfaces to generally include sweeping, vacuuming, operating equipment that creates the desired surface profile and repairing cracks/pits

• Operate general construction equipment such as large grinders/sanders, hand grinders, industrial vacuum, shot blaster

• Mixing, matching, and applying coating systems to floor surfaces

• Calculating the amount of materials and time required for each project

• Cleaning supplies and equipment throughout the application process to maintain a safe and organized work environment

• Communicating with clients to ensure satisfaction and that we are meeting or exceeding expectations

• Overseeing and managing Coating Installation Crews and Crew Members

• Detailed tracking and accounting of all product, equipment, and supplies

• Oversee and ensure proper maintenance of equipment

Position Requirements:

• Attention to detail and and superior customer service

• Must be dependable and on time

• Painting or construction background is a plus

• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal/motor vehicle background check

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Ability to travel

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in changing environmental conditions such as, hot, cold, humid, etc.

• Ability to perform physical labor for 8-12 hours a day and able to lift at least 50# or more

• A successful applicant will be required to safely drive and operate company equipment

• A successful applicant may be required to provide their own transportation to a meeting location or to the job site

• The ideal candidate will have experience in operating general construction equipment (Shop Vac, Generator, various large and small tools used to complete the project.)

Pay depends on experience. Range is $70k-$80k per year.
