Position Summary

Wolf Point Engineers is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong EPC background and 8-10 years of material handling and conveying system experience . This role will lead projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders. This is an in-person office position with some travel to various project locations throughout North America as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage EPC projects from proposal handoff through final closeout
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and vendors
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans
• Oversee material handling and conveying system projects (belt conveyors, bulk handling, automated systems, etc.)
• Coordinate procurement activities, vendor selection, and equipment deliveries
• Manage construction and installation activities, including site coordination and field support
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations
• Serve as primary client interface, providing regular progress updates and resolving issues
• Review and approve change orders, cost forecasts, and project reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in material handling and conveying systems
• Proven experience managing projects in an Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) environment
• Strong understanding of industrial systems, construction practices, and equipment procurement
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with project management tools and MS Office Suite
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, bulk material, or logistics facilities
• Familiarity with automated conveying and advanced material handling technologies
