Project Manager - Design & Operations

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager to oversee fabrication and installation projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both office and field environments and can drive projects forward with efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and organizational skills, is able to interpret drawings and specifications, and can effectively manage timelines, subcontractors, and installations while maintaining clear communication with leadership and field teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through project closeout
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Accelerate timelines and move projects efficiently into production and field installation
• Oversee installations and field logistics to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
• Conduct occasional local jobsite visits to stay aligned with field progress
• Oversee subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
• Monitor subcontractor performance for compliance and quality standards
• Provide regular updates to leadership and prepare detailed project reports
• Assist with bid reviews and pre-construction coordination as needed

Requirements:

• Strong ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and specifications
• Supervisory or leadership experience
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to balance office-based responsibilities with occasional local field involvement
• Professional communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD or SketchUp (strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of aluminum fabrication or exterior sunshade systems (preferred, not required)
