Actively seeking a Construction Project Manager for a fantastic company in Miami! This is a multi-million dollar boutique company with a family-owned and operated legacy that spans over a decade!

Overview
A growing fabrication and installation firm specializing in awnings, canopies, storefronts, and metalwork seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead awning and exterior metal projects across the Miami area.

Construction Project Manager — Awning & Metal Fabrication
Miami, FL
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 annually + bonus
Location: Miami, FL (field-based; regional travel as required)
Employment type: Full-time

Key responsibilities

• Manage awning, canopy, and exterior metal projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee shop fabrication schedules and coordinate field installation teams and subcontractors.
• Review and approve shop drawings, engineering details, templates, and material specifications.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and compliance with local codes for canopies/awnings.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, and cost controls.
• Conduct site visits, templating oversight, quality assurance, and final punchlists.
• Serve as primary client and stakeholder liaison; ensure safety and workmanship standards.
• Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and as-built documentation.

Required qualifications

• 3–7+ years managing awning/metal fabrication and installation projects (commercial and/or residential).
• Proven experience with shop drawings, field templating, fabrication workflows, and installation sequencing.
• Knowledge of aluminum extrusion systems, fabric/tensile materials, fasteners, anchors, waterproofing, and structural connections.
• Strong understanding of permitting processes and local building codes for canopies/awnings.
• Proficiency with CAD/AutoCAD (or similar), Procore or other PM software, and MS Office.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and site-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Preferred

• Experience coordinating with glaziers, roofers, structural engineers, and glazing systems.
• Prior background in sheet-metal fabrication or shop supervision.

Compensation & benefits

• Base pay $90,000–$100,000 + bonus eligibility.
