HVAC Controls Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a HVAC Controls Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee large scale Mechanical Equipment project planning, scheduling, budgeting, implementation, staffing and completion.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from initial design phases, to planning to implementation, installation and final completion.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs and continually monitor project costs according to budget.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Significant experience in Construction Management may be accepted in lieu of degree
• 5+ years of experience in Industrial HVAC and construction management.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership qualities
• Must have ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Knowledge of OSHA and other construction related rules and regulations

Position does require 75% travel
