The Project Portfolio Manager is responsible for the overall health, predictability, and performance of a defined portfolio of projects. This role ensures that work is prioritized effectively, capacity is managed realistically, and projects are delivered with clarity and accountability. As Project Portfolio Manager you will partner closely with functional leaders and operational stakeholders to align resources with strategic priorities, manage trade-offs, and maintain strong visibility into portfolio performance. This role plays a critical part in strengthening execution discipline and ensuring delivery commitments remain realistic and transparent.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the health, performance, and predictability of a defined project portfolio, aligning delivery timelines with strategic priorities and team capacity
  • Lead capacity planning and portfolio prioritization, partnering with functional leaders to balance resources and manage trade-offs
  • Monitor cross-project risks, dependencies, and delivery trends, driving corrective action when needed
  • Ensure consistent planning standards, clear stakeholder communication, and accurate visibility in Asana and Salesforce
  • Lead recurring portfolio reviews, providing leadership with clear insight into progress, constraints, and risk exposure

What You Bring

  • Strong portfolio-level thinking with the ability to balance competing priorities and resource constraints
  • Confidence navigating trade-offs while staying aligned with strategic goals
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Systems-oriented mindset with the ability to identify patterns, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborative leadership style that drives accountability while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana preferred), Salesforce, and Microsoft Office
  • 2+ years of project management, project coordination, or related experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred)
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus

The salary range for this role starts at $65,000 per year . Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
