Construction Project Manager - Industrial

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of highly technical water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead and manage all aspects of water treatment plant construction projects from initiation to completion.

· Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.

· Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.

· Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and productivity.

· Oversee procurement activities, including obtaining bids, negotiating contracts, and selecting vendors and subcontractors.

· Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

· Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

· Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work quality, safety practices, and adherence to project specifications.

· Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and budgetary performance.

· Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to project team members.

· Continuously evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

· BA in Construction Management or BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred

· 5-7 years of past experience as a Project Manager for commercial construction projects

· Technical knowledge of water treatment processes

· Leadership skills, positive attitude and ability to motivate others

· Proficiency in project management software (i.e. Procore, BlueBeam, Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Office)

· Strong communication skills

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize
