Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager  to lead a large-scale school expansion project  involving complex, multi-discipline construction. This is a high-visibility project with a tight schedule , strict safety requirements , and ongoing coordination within an active educational environment .

The successful candidate will manage the project from pre-construction through close-out and will have the opportunity to remain with the company upon completion, supporting additional commercial and institutional projects.


Project Scope Includes

  • Structural steel construction
  • Concrete foundations and superstructure
  • Framing and envelope systems
  • Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical coordination
  • High-end interior finishes
  • Flooring and roofing systems
  • Site work and exterior improvements
  • Work performed in an occupied school environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of construction from planning through completion
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and phasing plans
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors across all trades
  • Enforce site safety standards and compliance (OSHA and local regulations)
  • Manage budgets, cost controls, change orders, and forecasting
  • Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to drawings and specifications
  • Conduct regular project meetings with owners, architects, and inspectors
  • Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and communication
  • Ensure minimal disruption to school operations throughout construction

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial or institutional construction
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-trade projects
  • Prior experience with schools, occupied facilities, or phased construction  strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, MEP, and finish coordination
  • Ability to manage aggressive schedules without compromising safety or quality
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore or similar preferred)
