Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager - Hybrid

Primary Skills:  knowledge of data infrastructure and governance basics, Govt. exp., project mgmt. principles, concepts, practices.

Location: Lansing, MI (Resource will be working on a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.) Local candidates ONLY, (candidate must be located within 2 hours of Lansing, MI at time of submission.)

Start Details: 3/30/2026

Duration: One year with extension likely.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid:  Resource will be working on a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.  (Tuesdays & Wednesdays).

Interviews: Interview: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video. Please use laptop and be prepared to share screen if asked.

Position location:  Lansing,  MI. Local candidates only, must be within 60 miles of Lansing, MI.

- 5+ years of experience is strongly preferred.

- Knowledge of data infrastructure and governance basics.

- Previous government experience is a plus.

-Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role.
Required Skills

- Overall IT experience: Required. 5 + yrs.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree. Highly desired.

- Certifications:

- MUST have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), the ability to work effectively in a team environment, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Required.

- Minimum experience with skills. Required. 5 + yrs.

- Knowledge of data infrastructure and governance basics. Required.

- Previous government experience is a plus. Highly desired.

- Thorough knowledge of Project Management principles, concepts, and practices. Required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in information Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.
