Project Surveyor
Park Coastal Surveying, LLC
Park Coastal Surveying, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Surveyor to join our growing team. As a full-service surveying firm operating throughout Florida, our projects span a wide range of environments — from hydrographic and coastal surveys to construction sites, transportation corridors, and environmentally sensitive areas.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in both field and office operations, and a thorough understanding of the surveying and mapping profession. Pay based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage survey crews performing boundary, topographic, right-of-way, utility, construction staking, and as-built surveys for public and private clients
Perform existing conditions verification to ensure accuracy and consistency of survey data used for design
Process, review, and quality-control field data
Prepare and draft survey deliverables using CAD software, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction-related drawings
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements
Communicate effectively with management, clients, engineers, contractors, and field personnel to maintain project scope, schedule, and budget
Maintain survey equipment, vehicles, and data integrity
Represent the company in a professional and client-focused manner at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience leading survey field crews or managing survey projects
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent) with the ability to independently prepare survey drawings and exhibits
Experience with utility mapping, construction staking, as-built surveys, and data processing
Strong working knowledge of data collectors, robotic total stations, GPS systems, and automatic levels
Ability to manage projects from field data collection through final deliverables
Ability to work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions
Valid driver’s license
Strong organizational skills, punctuality, accountability, and attention to detail
