We are seeking an experienced Senior Factory Project Manager – Construction to lead ground-up factory and hotel/resort developments from planning through final handover.

Position Overview

The Senior Factory Project Manager will be reporting to the Miami location , but managing the full lifecycle of industrial and hospitality construction projects in the Orlando area. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, contractor coordination, and technical expertise in large-scale commercial construction.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record delivering multimillion-dollar factory facilities and hotel/resort properties on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Manage projects from feasibility and design development through construction, commissioning, and final turnover
  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and execution strategies
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery
  • Lead coordination between design teams, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project performance against established KPIs

Construction Management

  • Oversee general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
  • Conduct regular site visits and monitor construction progress
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and local building regulations
  • Coordinate inspections and support permitting processes

Factory Construction Oversight

  • Manage construction of industrial facilities including:
    • Production areas
    • Utility infrastructure and MEP systems
    • Power distribution and HVAC systems
    • Equipment installation planning and coordination
  • Support facility readiness and operational integration

Hotel & Resort Development Oversight

  • Oversee construction of:
    • Guest rooms and suites
    • Public areas and amenities
    • Back-of-house facilities
  • Ensure adherence to hospitality brand standards and quality requirements
  • Coordinate FF&E installation and final finishes to meet luxury specifications

Financial & Contract Management

  • Prepare and manage CAPEX budgets and cash flow forecasts
  • Monitor project costs and implement cost-control measures
  • Review and approve change orders and contractor invoices
  • Support contract negotiation and procurement activities
  • Maintain accurate financial reporting and documentation

Risk & Compliance

  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Support implementation of site safety standards and quality control processes

Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and investors
  • Lead coordination meetings with contractors and consultants
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with all project stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 10+ years of construction project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Industrial factory construction
    • Hotel or resort development projects
  • Strong knowledge of structural systems, MEP, HVAC, and building systems
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar construction budgets
  • PMP certification preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent budget and cost-control capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)

Work Environment

  • Combination of office-based and on-site construction environments
  • Up to 50% travel to the Orlando Site
