Rainscape Lawn Sprinkler Systems is a trusted leader in irrigation
services in the Seacoast. We specialize in delivering top-quality, efficient
water management solutions for our clients along the seacoast of New Hampshire
and Maine. We are looking for a skilled *Experienced Irrigation Technician*
to join our growing team. We operate year-round but *do not offer plowing or*
*snow-removal services in the winter*, allowing our team to focus on
irrigation work and off-season system maintenance. We offer consistent daytime
schedules with no night work and overtime opportunities available.
*Position Summary*
The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems with a strong commitment to quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and water efficiency. This role requires hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, controllers, drip lines, and sprinkler heads.
* Perform system startups, winterizations, and seasonal adjustments.
* Recommend efficiency improvements.
* Read and interpret blueprints, irrigation plans, and specifications.
* Ensure all work meets industry standards and company quality guidelines.
* Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding project status, recommendations, and service needs.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
* Operate tools, machinery, and service vehicles safely and responsibly.
*Qualifications*
* *3+ years of professional irrigation experience required.*
* Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, water management, and related technologies.
* Ability to diagnose and repair complex irrigation issues.
* Familiarity with major brands (e.g., Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, Weathermatic).
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Backflow certification (preferred but not required).
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
* Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent high-quality work.
