Marketing and Communications Officer

Love live entertainment? Live for creating content, building buzz, and getting people talking?

We’ve got the stage, but now we need your spotlight.

We’re looking for a creative, data-savvy, content-loving Marketing & Communications Officer to join our team at New Theatre Oxford, one of the region’s leading venues for world-class shows, unforgettable nights out, and community buzz.

This is your chance to shape campaigns, drive ticket sales, create exciting digital content, build brand partnerships, run unforgettable press nights, and raise our profile across Oxfordshire and beyond.

One day you’ll be crafting a killer social post, the next welcoming local influencers to a red-carpet event. Every day, you’ll bring theatre to life for new audiences.

We want someone who:

  • Writes sharp, compelling copy (for socials, newsletters, websites & more)
  • Thrives on creativity and loves a good campaign plan too
  • Can juggle press, producers, partners, and performance metrics
  • Has an eye for detail, a love of theatre, and the drive to make things happen

Whether you’ve worked in theatre, media, events or a completely different sector, if you’ve got the skills and the spark, we want to hear from you!

ATG Entertainment is proud to stand at the forefront of the live entertainment industry.

Our expertise and capabilities enable producers and other creatives to bring their visions to life and create unforgettable performances for audiences, presented in our landmark venues and delivered with exceptional hospitality. It is the passion of our teams, that cover every discipline across the live entertainment industry, that underpins our continuing strategic growth and success.

The New Theatre Oxford is the main commercial theatre in Oxford and has a capacity of nearly 1,800 people. There has been a theatre on the corner of George Street for almost 170 years. The first theatre built in 1836 was known commonly as the 'Vic', and later as the 'Theatre Royale' and has previously been the home of Oxford University Dramatic Society. The theatre was damaged by fire in 1892 and enlarged in 1908, and the present building dates from 1933, opening in 1934. Our venue hosts touring productions ranging from musicals, comedians, music events and we host private conferences.

People are at the heart of our success. We are passionate about bringing great live experiences to the widest possible audience; about giving the world’s best creative talent the stage it deserves; and about providing our people and partners with opportunities to realise their full potential.
