The Five Rivers Health Center is an expanding Federal Qualified Health Center located in Dayton and Xenia, Ohio providing a medical home for low-income patients. *Position Overview *
The *Optometrist* is responsible for the clinical care of all patients examined at the Vision Center. Diagnoses, manages, and treats conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system.
*General Responsibilities*
* Examines eyes and visual system
* Diagnoses problems or impairments
* Prescribes corrective lenses
* May prescribe therapeutic drugs to treat specific eye conditions
* Performs related duties as required
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Optometry Degree from an accredited college or university is required
* Unrestricted license to practice optometry in the State of Ohio is required
* 3+ years of Optometric experience required
* Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
* Windows-based computer experience required
