We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead our team in providing equipment, refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, repair and support to assigned service calls. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in field service and equipment repair. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing excellent service to oversee, lead and direct staff HVAC Technicians and Carpenters.
*Duties & Responsibilities*
* Drive independently to stores daily as assigned.
* Perform various preventative maintenance tasks and procedures, including audits.
* Perform repairs to systems.
* Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces.
* Assist with and perform various preventative maintenance tasks and procedures to buildings and equipment.
* Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment.
* Perform compressor, large motor and component replacement.
* Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts.
* Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts safely.
* Clean and maintain company service vehicles, if one is assigned.
* Orally communicate with store personnel regarding the proper use of equipment as it relates to repeat calls and overtime.
* Utilize company email system to send and receive messages.
* Properly complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion.
* Comply with all department and company policies and procedures.
* Provide input to supervisor and management towards maintenance Best Practices.
* Audit registered store equipment identification lists.
* Assist other skilled trade technicians in repairs as requested.
* Provide feedback on performance reviews.
* Coach, mentor and train other technicians.
* Physical demands include, but are not limited to, high aptitude and walking endurance, sitting while driving to various stores, lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds, pushing and pulling climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting and kneeling and working in different temperatures inside and outside the store.
* Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
* Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
* Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
* Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
* Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs and/or older adults.
* Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
*Required Qualifications*
* Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of equipment
* HVAC Certified
* Strong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the team
* Ability to work at a fast paced and efficient manner
* Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently regarding department needs and priorities, under general supervision
* Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills
* Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift to 50 pounds
* Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics
· Advanced technical training or related technical certifications
· EPA Certification for HVAC is preferred
*Duties*
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC/R technicians and service personnel.
* Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
* Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment.
* Provide technical guidance and support to team members in troubleshooting complex issues.
* Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and inventory management.
* Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance and repair operations.
* Assist in training new technicians on best practices in HVAC/R service.
* Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in facilities.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as an HVAC Supervisor or similar role within the HVAC/R industry.
* Experience in field service operations with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance.
* Familiarity with property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
