Position Summary
Alpine Healthcare Center is seeking a motivated and experienced Part Time Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead education, training, and professional development initiatives for our nursing team. This role is essential in ensuring regulatory compliance, clinical competency, and continuous quality improvement throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and conduct orientation for new nursing staff
Develop and implement ongoing in-service education programs
Ensure compliance with state and federal training requirements
Monitor and track staff certifications and license renewals
Provide hands-on clinical education and competency evaluations
Assist with infection control education and initiatives
Support survey readiness and participate in QA/QAPI activities
Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote clinical excellence
Qualifications
Current New Hampshire RN license in good standing
Prior long-term care experience required
Previous staff development or education experience preferred
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
Excellent presentation, leadership, and communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
