We have an opening for a reliable Material Handler in Detroit, Michigan. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, focusing on the efficient movement, organization, and management of materials. Your duties will include receiving goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse. The ideal candidate possesses physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a strong dedication to workplace safety . You will work as part of a team to ensure that all materials are handled correctly and efficiently. We provide comprehensive training, including the mandatory use of PPE , and adhere strictly to all safety regulations. This position involves frequent lifting of items and requires the ability to operate various material handling equipment. A basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory checks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
