You will be responsible for locating items within our warehouse, picking them with precision, and preparing them for shipment. This role requires physical activity, including regular Lifting and movement of products. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify the contents of each order against the pick list for accuracy.
- Apply correct shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and guidelines, including correct PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counts.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Report any order discrepancies or product issues to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet and exceed daily fulfillment targets.
- Perform duties that involve frequent Lifting and moving of items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or general warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of and adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Punctual and reliable attendance is required.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
