We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our growing team in Provo, Utah. This specialized role is crucial for optimizing warehouse space and ensuring the efficient movement of inventory. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will expertly navigate narrow aisles and operate specialized equipment to store and retrieve products at height. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to pick, stock, and stage inventory at various heights.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of the reach truck and report any mechanical issues.
- Accurately move products throughout the warehouse, ensuring proper placement.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Load and unload trucks when necessary, ensuring safe handling of goods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck; certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to work safely at heights and navigate narrow aisles.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
