Are you an energetic individual seeking a dynamic role in our Denver, Colorado warehouse? We're looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our expanding logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will utilize RF scanners or pick lists to locate items and prepare them for packing and shipment. A good understanding of warehouse operations, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are key. Safety is our utmost priority; adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of PPE is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Stage picked items appropriately for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues encountered during the picking process.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets for order picking.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support the overall logistics operation.
- Participate in inventory counts as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order forms.
- Experience with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow instructions.
