We have an immediate opening for a dedicated Warehouse Worker at our St. Louis, Missouri location. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our distribution center, supporting the efficient handling and movement of goods. You'll be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, contributing to our overall success.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting as part of daily duties.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as directed by supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall flow of goods within the logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of basic warehouse Safety practices.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and operate different types of equipment.
- Commitment to following all PPE requirements.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations is an advantage.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
