We are recruiting for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your duties will encompass receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, contributing significantly to our overall logistics success. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be a key player in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and eager to contribute to a positive team environment. Your efforts are crucial to our supply chain and the satisfaction of our customers.Responsibilities include:
- Receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and inspecting for damage.
- Storing inventory accurately in designated locations.
- Picking and packing orders according to specific instructions and quality standards.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding Safety and the use of required PPE .
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues with inventory or equipment.
- This role involves significant Lifting and requires physical capability.
- Understanding and utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere within the logistics department.
- Following all protocols for handling different types of materials.
- Supporting other warehouse functions as needed.
