Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform quality checks on packed orders before shipment.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall smooth functioning of our logistics operations.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and a commitment to using PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes is a plus.
