Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator looking for a challenging opportunity in Kansas City, Missouri? We are seeking a skilled individual to operate various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse, ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from designated areas, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires proficiency in operating forklifts in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all established protocols. You will conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues immediately. A strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of materials and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. The successful candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the highest standards of Safety. Experience with different types of forklifts and pallet jacks is a must.
