We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team in Detroit, Michigan. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing all goods. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting the overall flow of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for unloading incoming freight, verifying order accuracy against purchase orders and shipping manifests, and inspecting goods for damage. Proper documentation of received items, including discrepancies, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This position involves significant manual labor, including moderate Lifting, and requires the ability to stand for extended periods and operate pallet jacks. Your contribution will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
