Join our vibrant logistics team as an Order Picker in Houston, Texas! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment. In this fast-paced environment, your role is essential for ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. You'll utilize scanning technology to locate products and ensure correct quantities, contributing directly to the efficiency of our warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners and pick sheets.
- Locate items in the warehouse efficiently and safely.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Package picked items securely for transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE, including safety vests and footwear.
- Report any inventory inaccuracies or equipment issues.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse roles is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent Lifting.
- Capability for Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Understanding of and adherence to Safety procedures.
