Are you a strong individual ready to handle the physical demands of a warehouse? We have an opening for a Material Handler in our Miami, Florida facility. This role is essential for the smooth flow of goods within our logistics network, ensuring materials are moved efficiently and safely from receiving to storage and then to production or shipping areas. You'll be instrumental in maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment. If you thrive in a hands-on role and understand the importance of Safety, this is the job for you.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stack, store, and organize materials to maximize space and ensure accessibility.
- Load finished goods onto trucks for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety procedures and regulations.
- Wear required PPE at all times, including hard hats, safety vests, and steel-toed boots.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, removing debris and waste.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including frequent Lifting of heavy items.
- Capability to handle loads up to 75 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong awareness of workplace Safety and hazard prevention.
- Team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
