Job Summary:
Are you a proven leader ready to guide a warehouse team to success? We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our Raleigh, North Carolina location. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including staff management, inventory control, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. This critical role ensures that our logistics and supply chain functions operate smoothly and effectively. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure efficient inventory management, including cycle counts, accuracy checks, and loss prevention.
  • Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of warehouse equipment and systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs within the logistics department.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure proper use of PPE by all team members.
  • Manage workload distribution and ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues and employee concerns.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including the critical importance of PPE.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
