Join our vibrant logistics operations in Columbus, Ohio, as an Order Picker! We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual to accurately and efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. The Order Picker is a cornerstone of our fulfillment process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specified products, and ensuring the correct quantities are picked. This role requires a good understanding of inventory management principles, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience with order picking technology such as RF scanners is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order sheets or digital pick lists.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts within your picking zone.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if trained and certified).
- Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform consistent lifting, up to 45 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long durations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Team-oriented mindset.
