You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. As a Picker/Packer, you will contribute directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and promptly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or RF scanner prompts.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Package orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting overall logistics functions.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
