Our Portland, Oregon distribution center is looking for an efficient Order Picker to accurately fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment. This role is crucial for the success of our **logistics** operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. We are seeking reliable individuals who prioritize **safety** and consistently use the required **PPE**.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order lists or RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked goods to designated packing or shipping areas.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and put-away of inventory.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of **PPE**.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy goals.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand picking instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability for **Lifting** items up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** and inventory management.
- Knowledge of **PPE** and commitment to **safety** regulations.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
