Join our bustling logistics operations in Miami, Florida, as a Picker/Packer! This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to accurate and efficient order fulfillment. As a Picker/Packer, your primary responsibilities will include selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Precision and speed are key in this role, ensuring customer satisfaction. We prioritize a safe work environment and provide comprehensive training on all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Package products securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping and prepare them for dispatch.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks to support the overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
