We are seeking experienced professionals to operate forklifts and manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is integral to our efficient operations, requiring precision in loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking goods. A valid forklift certification is a mandatory requirement for this position. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack palletized materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers accurately and safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse, including production and shipping.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with inventory control, ensuring accurate placement and tracking of goods.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
- Uphold the company's commitment to excellence in logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid forklift operator certification.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Thorough understanding of safe forklift operation and material handling techniques.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Commitment to wearing and utilizing all required PPE.
- Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for this logistics role.
