We are seeking motivated Order Pickers to join our vibrant logistics team in Tampa, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your ability to work quickly and accurately is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and operational efficiency. This role involves navigating the warehouse, using scanning equipment, and ensuring that the correct items are picked and prepared for packing. You'll be an integral part of our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and correctly. We prioritize a safe and productive working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using a scanner or pick list.
- Verify item accuracy and quantities against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing station efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as needed.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental logistics goals.
- Be prepared for tasks that involve moderate Lifting and movement of products.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors regarding order fulfillment and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order forms.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform moderate Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
