Our growing company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to safety are paramount. You will be an integral part of our logistics chain, ensuring that customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing packages for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include some lifting and moving of boxes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety principles.
- Willingness to work as part of a team to achieve shipping goals in a logistics setting.
