The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately preparing, processing, and documenting outgoing shipments. This role is crucial to ensuring timely and correct delivery of products to our customers. You will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain efficient operations and contribute to overall warehouse productivity. Responsibilities:
- Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders.
- Package items securely and appropriately for transit, ensuring product protection.
- Operate shipping software to generate labels and track shipments.
- Communicate with carriers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain organized shipping areas and inventory.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including some lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate lifting.
