Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our Nashville, Tennessee facility. This pivotal role requires a leader with strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and shipping. The Warehouse Coordinator will ensure efficient workflow, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold rigorous safety standards. This position is essential for the smooth functioning of our logistics network, requiring a proactive approach and a keen understanding of warehouse management principles.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving.
  • Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring they adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and space utilization.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures for all warehouse activities.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational costs.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination is required. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics operations. The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs, and a strong commitment to safety, including the correct use of PPE, are mandatory. Experience with forklift operations and a valid certification is highly desirable.
