We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in New York City, New York. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders. Your responsibilities will include picking, packing, and shipping merchandise, as well as receiving and stocking incoming inventory. You will work closely with other team members to meet daily fulfillment targets and contribute to the overall success of our distribution operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using provided equipment and systems.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before shipping.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and storage areas efficiently and organized manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly goals.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and orders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
