Job Summary:
Join our logistics team in Dallas, Texas, as an Inventory Clerk. We are looking for a meticulous individual to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This role is critical for ensuring efficient operations, accurate order fulfillment, and effective supply chain management. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, performing receiving and put-away functions, and assisting with physical inventory counts. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency with inventory management systems or a willingness to learn quickly. You should be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and possess the physical ability to perform tasks that may involve some lifting, typically up to 30 lbs. Safety is a core value, and you must adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves. Accurate inventory is the backbone of successful logistics, and your role will directly impact our efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Process incoming receipts and ensure accurate stock put-away.
  • Assist with periodic physical inventory counts.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory records.
  • Track and manage stock rotation (e.g., FIFO).
  • Generate inventory reports as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all warehouse safety protocols and use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams on inventory-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for inventory process improvements.
