In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient management of stock within our warehouse. Your duties will include conducting regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, investigating stock issues, and assisting in maintaining an organized and accessible inventory system. This position is vital for our logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products available when needed. A strong commitment to Safety is a must, and you will be required to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols. While extensive Lifting may not be a primary focus, the role demands meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate their causes.
- Update inventory records accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse inventory layout.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing stock for damage or discrepancies.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers.
- Adhere to all company policies, including Safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following Safety guidelines and using PPE.
