Join our dynamic fulfillment center in Nashville, Tennessee, as a Picker/Packer. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail ensures that our customers receive the correct products in excellent condition. This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety . You will work with pick lists or RF scanners to locate items, and then utilize appropriate packaging materials to secure products for transit. Understanding the importance of order accuracy and timely processing is key to our Logistics operations. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions precisely is crucial. This role involves physical activity, including standing, walking, and moderate Lifting . We require all team members to consistently wear the necessary PPE to ensure a safe working environment. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing e-commerce operation.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product details and quantities before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product protection during shipping.
- Carefully pack items, ensuring neatness and order accuracy.
- Seal and label packages for shipment according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE , such as gloves and safety glasses.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting .
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity for packing.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability for moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Willingness to wear mandatory PPE .
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic Logistics .
