Join our team as a skilled Forklift Operator in Boise, Idaho! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including proper operation of equipment and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is critical. This role requires precision, a steady hand, and the ability to navigate a busy logistics environment. You will be responsible for routine checks of forklift equipment to ensure operational safety and report any maintenance needs. Tasks may involve Lifting and maneuvering heavy items, making physical stamina and a commitment to safety paramount. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks).
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas.
- Assist with inventory management and put-away processes.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including PPE usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support overall warehouse operations and logistics.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Ability to perform minor forklift maintenance checks.
- Experience with manual Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
