Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and prepared for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and packing a variety of products according to order specifications. Your accuracy and efficiency directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during transit.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure the correct items and quantities are packed.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or discrepancies.
  • Be prepared for tasks that may involve significant lifting throughout the shift.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
