Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders or picking lists.
- Use scanning devices to track picked items and update inventory levels in real-time.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during shipping.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including keeping workstations tidy.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Participate in quality control checks of outgoing orders.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to ensure smooth operations.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail is essential for order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
