You will be responsible for various inventory-related tasks, including cycle counting, stock takes, data entry, and investigating discrepancies. A meticulous approach and a strong sense of responsibility are key to succeeding in this position. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to ensure efficient inventory management practices are followed. We are committed to a safe workplace, providing the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and training. - Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Accurately record inventory data and update the inventory management system.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
- Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and locations.
- Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff on inventory-related matters.
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory.
- Follow all warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist in the organization of warehouse layout for optimal inventory flow.
- Must be able to handle moderate Lifting tasks, typically up to 30 lbs.
- Support receiving and shipping processes from an inventory perspective.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong data entry and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze information and solve problems.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
